HAVE FUN!

Let’s explore a fun way to share our Loving-Kindness by using a little bit of mindfulness.

What we’re going to do is send our love to three special people, and these people can be anywhere in the entire world

All we'll need is a big breath of air and…some bubbles! So go grab your bubbles and let’s get started.

STEP 1

Close your eyes and breathe in through your nose.
Sigh that breath out.
Notice how you feel right now:

Are you happy?
Are you angry?
Are you anxious?

Just notice and continue to breathe in and out.

STEP 2

Using your imagination, start to focus on your heart. Imagine a beautiful pink light in the center. What is the light doing? Is it dancing? Is it perfectly still? Is it flickering?

Watch that light grow a little bit bigger…and a little bit bigger…and a little bit bigger until it gets SO big that it covers you from your head all the way down to your toes!

This pink light is your Loving-Kindness

STEP 3

Open your eyes and grab your bubbles. Picture someone you love. Now we’re going to send them your loving-kindness by blowing some bubbles! Concentrate on the light in your heart. Take a big breath in and blow your bubbles to your special person. 

As each bubble pops something incredible happens. More and more loving kindness finds your special person wherever they are in the world!

STEP 4

Picture someone that made you angry. Can you picture them? How does your heart feel? You know what, I bet their heart feels angry too, so this means…you both need a little loving kindness.

Concentrate on the light in your heart. Take a big breath in and blow your bubbles to your special person. 

Watch as the bubbles pop, sending your loving-kindness to person #2.

STEP 5

Now think of person #3. Do you know who that is? It’s YOU!

Sometimes we forget to give ourselves some love, so close your eyes and feel the glowing pink light in your heart.

Open your eyes, grab your bubbles and blow as many bubbles as your heart desires, sending more and more loving-kindness your way!

STEP 6

Continue to have fun and watch as your loving-kindness grows and grows and grows!
